Appartement Schoder

The old gravel bank, in dialect “Schoderbänkli”, is about 500 meters from Tanafreida as the crow flies. The namesake of this apartment is one of our favorite places on our daily walking round.

If you want to try the path yourself: take the Zamangweg in front of our area up to the left, but the 2nd turn to the right leads you over the stream Tramosa and further through the forest to the old “Schoderhus”.

Shortly, a bench invites you to let your gaze wander through the valley. From there you continue through the “Segeswald”, a beautiful mixed forest. Then you cross the “Gufelbach” on a bridge, after that you immediately turn right and follow the narrow path along the brook down through the Torawald to the new wooden bridge.

There you turn right again and walk (or stroll) along the meadow path and across beautiful clearings with power trees and old barns back to Tanafreida.

So small, and already two balconies: With 37 m2 the “Schoder” is one of our compact apartments, yet the bedroom and living room have a balcony.

  • In the bedroom you will find solid wood furniture made of soothing Swiss pine, a stately wardrobe and a 180 x 200 cm double bed with separate Optimo mattresses. Large, floor-to-ceiling windows let plenty of light into the room.
  • The living room is equally bright, thanks to floor-to-ceiling windows. Table, chairs, and shelves look valuable, they are, after all, made of solid oak wood. The details, chosen with love by Alexandra, give the room its character.
  • The Italian designer sofa bed invites you to relax and, with a 180 x 200 cm comfort mattress, offers enough space even to sleep.
  • 15 m2 of outdoor space can be enjoyed on the two private balconies on the east and south sides. On the comfortable armchairs with lambskin with sensational panoramic view from the back of the Montafon to the Gargellen valley you will forget the time.
  • In the small kitchen there is everything you need for cooking pleasure: refrigerator with freezer compartment, oven, microwave, dishwasher, pad coffee machine and kettle. We provide basic spices, vinegar and oil in organic quality.
  • In the modern bathroom you will find a spacious, ground-level shower and exceptional whey-based care products from Metzler®.
  • As standard you will find WLAN and cable TV with radio in all apartments. We provide towels, bed linen and bathrobes, which we change once a week.
